Gangtok lachen Lachung & Darjeeling

Day 1 : BAGDOGRA/NJP - GANGTOK

Meet and greet on arrival at IXB/NJP, transfer to Gangtok capital city of Sikkim. Upon reaching check in at hotel, evening free for your personal activities and overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 : EXCURSION TO TSHANGU LAKE AND BABA MANDIR (NATHULA OPTIONAL)

After breakfast excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) a high-altitude sacred lake & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) It is located on the Gangtok capital city. The way also drives to Nathula Pass, which connects India’s Tibet Autonomous Region. It is an optional tour and permit is subjected to availability within 24hrs (Supplement Cost). Transfer back to Gangtok and overnight stay at Gangtok.

Note: Monday and Tuesday Nathula Pass is closed.

Day 3 : GANGTOK - LACHEN (NORTH SIKKIM)

After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachen (8,500 ft.), North Sikkim. On the way take a break for some beautiful spots which are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) & Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachen check into your hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Lachen.

Day 4 : GURUDONGMAR LAKE EXCURSION - LACHUNG

After breakfast proceed for Lachen sightseeing i.e. Gurudongmar Lake and Chopta Valley and transfer to Lachung and overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 5 : YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION - GANGTOK

Early Morning drive to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On the way if the weather is clear you may get to see Mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik view point. On arrival at Gangtok check-in to your hotel. Rest of the evening free for your own activities. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 6 : PELLING - DARJEELING

After breakfast at hotel and then forwarding journey to Darjeeling – a land of breathtaking beauty, sloping tea gardens with spectacular views of the Mount Everest is the Queen of the hills.Upon reaching check into the hotel & overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 7 : DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING WITH TIGER HILL

Early Morning (at around 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill  to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (subject to clear wwather), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view),  and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 8 : DEPARTURE

After breakfast drive to Bagdogra Airport or NJP railway station for your onward destination.
